Directions

From Kirkby Stephen town centre, follow the A685 towards Tebay. Approx 1 mile out of Kirby Stephen, you will pass under the railway bridge of the Carlisle-Settle railway line. The cottage is immediately after the bridge on the right, next to the telephone box.

From the M6, follow the A685 towards Kirby Stephen for approx. 10 miles. Pass the junction signposted Sedbergh on the right. After the bend in the road, there are two terraces of cottages leading up to the railway bridge. The cottage is the last on the left before the bridge, next to the telephone box.
